I'd like to share this with everyone and welcome donations towards Great Strides' Walk for Cystic Fibrosis. As many of you may already know, Cystic Fibrosis, or "CF" is a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs.

And as many of you may know who have stayed with us and chatted over breakfast, you may have heard me mention my friend Trista, who is more like a sister to me. Over the years I have become close with Trista's entire family, including her brother Brent, his significant other Kristen, and their adorable little girl, Cece, who unfortunately was diagnosed with CF at birth and lives with it every day.

Trista and her family will be participating in the Great Strides Walk to End CF on May 17th, which is an event that fuels research with the hope of finding a cure to end this disease that so many are affected by.

Fun fact!

Approximately 39% of all businesses in the United States are women-owned.

A little history lesson...

Warner-Concord Farms Bed & Breakfast contributes to that 39% and has since the very beginning back in 1990 when Kay Herdman and her husband, Jerry, purchased the property and converted it into the bed and breakfast. Sadly, due to a tragic accident that occurred in 1993, Kay became the sole owner and operator of Warner-Concord Farms and continued to run a thriving business for 31 years until passing the torch onto us.

I am proud to say that we are still contributing towards the 39% today and I look forward to seeing that number grow in the future!

We're excited to share that we have received Booking.com's Traveller Review Award for 2025!

If I'm being honest I was a little skeptical about using an OTA (online travel agent for all of the non-industry folks LOL) for bookings but finally took the plunge and listed our place on Booking last May. All I can say is, no regrets here!

We'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our guests who left us amazing reviews, it is because of ya'll that we've accomplished our five-star rating.

We're looking forward to seeing our new friends in the near future and meeting many more as time goes on!

We've received a lot of inquiries and questions regarding whether or not we will be hosting weddings here on The Farm. The short answer is yes, however, at this time we're going to start small by teaming up with Amber Sironen Massey to offer elopement packages!
