Kenisee!

Hello everyone,

As I strolled through Deer Run this afternoon, I found myself thinking of all of you and wanted to share my experience. We are at the beginning of a multi-year asphalt project that will be executed in sections, and we are eager to get started. I hope you enjoy this journey with us!

🐤 Quack to Camp: The Final Hunt!

Last week’s Duck Hunt made such a splash, we’re giving our sharp-eyed detectives who didn’t find one another quack at it!

🐥 8 sneaky little ducks are hiding around camp, just waiting to be discovered.
If your child finds one, bring it to the Ducky Derby next Saturday for a quack-tastic surprise!
One duck per detective, please.

💛 Don’t forget — buy your lucky duck (or a whole flock!) for the big race. First place paid out $1,900 last year!

📍Get your ducks today from Claudia & Mike (W3) — look for the big yellow duck — or from Lori at R25.

Attention Kenisee Campers here is an update on the upcoming weekend activities!

Saturday August 9th we have the best BBQ in Northeastern Ohio with Wepa Smoked! He will be serving up food around 4 pm at the pavilion.

Dirty Deeds (One for Curt) will play from 8 pm till 11pm. Kenisees annual light up the sky Fireworks display will be during the first break of Dirtry Deeds so plan accordingly for your 4 legged friends! Weekend weather looks beautiful so enjoy as much time as you can!

We’ve hidden 8 sneaky little ducks around camp for the kiddos… and they’re just waiting to be found! 🕵️‍♂️

If your child is lucky enough to spot one, grab it and bring it with you to Duck Derby for a quack-tastic surprise! 🎁🎉

Good Morning Kenisee Campers!

It is hard to believe we are nearing the 4th of July already! As a whole, we need to make up for those lost stormy weekends we all endured during the wettest month of May I can remember! My challenge to you all is to make these next few weekends count, so get out and enjoy this summer sun and heat!

Just a few updates for this weekend!

The weather looks questionable enough for us to postpone the car show until August 23! The ball field is gonna be a little soggy for that event. So make sure to spread the word to everyone who was planning on attending.

The kids fishing tournament is still on so bring out your kids for this great event full of fun and some very nice prizes this year! Registration begins at 9 am, fishing will start at 930 followed by hotdogs at the pavilion!

The beach party is on as well from 1 till 4 we have Vinyl Arcade playing at Dawson's Stage at the pavilion lake! Make sure to get your rafts blown up because the weather is looking very nice!

Looking forward to a wonderful weekend surrounded by friends and family!

Attention Kenisee Campers!

Happy Labor Day Weekend! Plenty of activities for the family along with another food truck for Saturday. Here's a few reminders in case you have too much fun this weekend!

Sal from Weepa Smoke will be serving up BBQ at the pavilion starting at 2 Pm on Saturday. His menu is as follows

Menu for Mary's Urban Kitchen is: Philly Steak sandwiches, Meatloaf w/pepper Jelly sandwich, chicken and waffles, fresh cut fries, onion rings, loaded tater tots and more.

WE HAVE FINIALIZED THE FOOD TRUCK SCHEUDLE!!

With some help from my family, and some reccomendations from you campers we are excited to offer some cusine from a few local food vendors from our area. This is the first year we are trying this so bare with us and we will see how this works. Please take some time to enjoy these opportunities to support a few of these local food vendors and eat some really good food!
