We're a family of barbecue lovers. We've been selling smoked meats in the Ashland area since 2013. Right now, we operate Dorky's BBQ: a small barbecue eatery in Ashland. Many folks have asked us about staying open on weekends in Ashland, but we had other plans.

Dorky's Roadhouse is different. In the Dorky family, there was always a vision to operate a place—somewhere that could become a destination. Our first location in Ashland has taken on a life of its own as a lunch spot, but the location doesn't make way for the kind of dinner spot we envision.

The plan is for Dorky's BBQ in Ashland to focus on lunch crowds, while Dorky's Roadhouse in Louisa focuses on weekend and dinner crowds.

We will have limited hours to start, primarily weekends.

Be patient with us as we get everything in place! We can't wait to serve you, Louisa.

As we've posted recently, we have really stepped up our salad game up here at the Trailhead Brewing Co. Grille & Bar at Rustic Ravines! Have it your way! Shown in the pic is a tossed garden salad with fresh romaine lettuce 🥬 red onion cucumber green pepper Italian seasoned croutons topped with tomatoes Bleu Cheese crumbles and balsamic vinaigrette...BOOM!! 👊😋🤳

Joe was such a flexible host and super accommodating with everything we asked. He gave a quick tour of the property at check-in, going over everything we would need to know. His cabins are beautiful, all having unique features that make them super cool! Overall, such a great stay and great host. Definitely will be booking again with Joe if we plan on returning to the area.
