🎶 These are a few of my favorite SWINGS- SUNSET EDITION at The Homestead at Flint Creek Lake 🌅

We may have created another new favorite happy place at The Homestead at Flint Creek Lake. 🌳💛

We recently uncovered, on the shoreline, an magnificent old oak. Once freed from vines and overgrowth, it is postcard-perfect—with incredible sunset views, a huge shady canopy and a near permanent breeze coming under the tree.

So naturally… we added a swing.

And not just any swing. It’s an oversized, ridiculously comfortable three-person porch swing big enough for three friends—or one person who has absolutely no intention of sharing. 😂

Stretch out. Grab a drink. Watch the sunset. Listen to the wind chimes softly singing overhead, the water lapping on the shoreline or boats humming by on the water. Or come back after dark, lie down and watch the stars through the oak branches while the swing gently sways in the warm breeze. 🌙✨

Warning: you may lose several hours here and not care one bit. 🫶

Fish. Swim. Cruise. Play. Come back to the oak tree. Catch the sunset. Repeat.

And this little shoreline transformation? STAY TUNED!! This is only ONE of the significant improvements underway at The Homestead. 👀
