It’s official! 🎉
We’re setting sail in July, 2027 and we would LOVE for you to join us! 🛳️🍷
The Wine Project will be hosting a week of wine, food and European splendor as we cruise along the Rhine River where castle-studded gorges and charming towns provide the perfect backdrop to explore the French Alsace and German Rheinhessen wine regions. 🏰
Our journey is with on board the AmaViola, a cozy modern river ship that sleeps 156 people. (Sorry, no waterslides or 3am raves.) 🤪
Along the way, John will be offering wine classes, happy hours, and a wine dinner with the ship’s executive chef to get you up to speed on the wines of the region. And that’s on top of the wine tastings and vineyard tours you’ll have available to you at nearly every stop!

Our friends at Preferred Vacations have helped us negotiate special pricing on this sailing just for our customers, so if you can’t make it on the 3rd, just contact the shop or at Preferred and we’ll get you all squared away. Deposits must be received by the end of April to qualify for the full discount, with full payment due 90 days before sailing.
The fun starts on July 11, 2027 in Basel, Switzerland and wraps up on the 18th in Amsterdam. Along the way we’ll stop in:
