“Super 8 by Wyndham in Georgetown has an opening for a full-time, front desk representative!

The position is for first (7am-3pm) or 2nd shift (3pm-11pm), depends on availability. Some holidays may be required. Prior hotel experience is preferred, but not required. You should have excellent customer service skills, enjoy working with the public, be able to work with minimal supervision and be very dependable. Pay starts at $12/hr.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
• Answer telephone
• Post charges, compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests
• Make and confirm reservations
• Monitor room availability
• Program wake-up calls
• Handle guest mail and messages
• Perform check-out services
• Open and close shifts, making cash drops as necessary
• Provide guests with directions and information regarding the local area
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby, front entrance, and surrounding areas
• Assist in checking all lobby fixtures, equipment and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, setting, and maintenance. Report deficiencies.

Specific Qualifications for the role include:
• Solid organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and administrative skills
• Availability to work a flexible schedule when needed
