Camp D.O.A.

I have kept up my promise to deliver a video of our Burning Man 2022 experience. After well over 100 hours working on this video, there are still a couple of rough spots. Mostly sound transitions and a couple fast moving slides, but I think it is good and I wanted to get it out before Christmas. I hope you enjoy it! We had some great photos and video from Zultan, ChrisMac and Rachel, plus some that RedPilot let me use. It was fun reliving all of the fun we had so I am very grateful for all the photos and video that I was able to use.
Sincerely,
~Peritwinkle

Amazing theater and an awesome crew. Please help them come back this year if you can.

The mysterious movie theater in Deep Playa is looking to reappear from a seven year hiatus for Burning Man's "Waking Dreams."

Looking forward to seeing all your dusty faces on the playa in less than 6 months! Prepared to make new friends and be spoiled by our decadence.

Now we can see some of our favorite art off the playa....

“It’s not easy, having a good time...” —Tim Curry Burning Man is often transformational. The vortex of whimsical, engaging, and sometimes tortuous effort of building camps, art cars, and the fantastic art installations it is known for, is infectious and...

Well, this was a bit of an epic fail but nice try by those who set this platform up for us. We created our camp on a separate url but when all camps were combined to create the Burning Man community, nothing that we used in our original design was utilized. I think the placement crew just used what was written for the camp and came up with their own idea. Apparently they must have thought we were sleepy book readers because they used a bookshelf to represent Camp DOA! The biggest problem was the network connection. If there was more than 10 people on it would freeze and you had to start over. Anyway, here is our lovely bookshelf and tent to the right of the bookshelf that represented Camp DOA on topia.io/burn

Hey there DOA! I know you are all chomping at the bit for some pics and trust they will be forthcoming soon! Be warned though that some of our events were clothing optional so we didnt end up with a ton of photos out of consent respect. (No we did NOT put the chairs out for those)

All in all it was an amazing year for One Eyed Jack's and we had some awesome blowout bashes that I know many people enjoyed a hell of a lot.

Stay tuned for pictures to start filtering in over the next week or so :-)
