WPMT FOX43

Over 160 years since the Battle of Gettysburg, a bed and breakfast in the city still has a piece of history from the battle lodged in its walls.

The Emmy's were on TV last night, and we feel like we just won one ourselves after waking up to this Google review from recent guest Carey V.:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"Rooms: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Location: 5/5
* Rooms: Nicely furnished and very comfortable.
* Nearby activities: 15 minutes walking to Cemetery Hill part of the Gettysburg Battlefield...Two-five blocks from the town center and Baltimore Street restaurants.
* Safety: Seems to be a very safe area.
* Walkability: On a residential street with sidewalks and near the Park roads.
* Food & drinks: The served breakfast was the best B&B meal I have eaten.
* Noteworthy details: The building was once one of the first public schools in the country and was the first site for what became Gettysburg College. Of course, the building was in the middle of the battle in 1863."

We would like to thank our producers and directors...oh, wait...that was an Emmy speech. We got caught up on the award glow. Seriously--thank you to Carey and to everyone we are lucky enough to host. We love what we do, and we love sharing our little piece of Gettysburg with you.
