It’s 87 degrees out but the house is at 72 with no air conditioning running. It was 91 when I pulled up and has been closed up completely for a few days.
Yes I have portable window A/C units but the reality is the house is a Good Sense home and does a great jobs maintaining the temperature. The units are in the rooms that get the direct evening sunlight and fans are in the other bedrooms to move the cool air in until it cools off at night.
I sleep with the window open all year around to breath the clean fresh air which has me feeling refreshed in the morning!
During mosquito season, spray the screen with repellant and they stay away. 😉
Hoping the review offering the detail about no central A/C doesn’t deter you from making a reservation. Between Mother Nature, portable A/C units, wood stove, extra blankets and last resort the furnace, The Phillipo “Ranch” should be able to meet your comfort in any season!
