2022 Red Cross Youth Good Samaritan Isabel has kindly built a new life jacket stand for Pine Valley Retreat. She wanted to ensure travelers had access to life jackets and a place to properly store them. Pine Valley Retreat has a wonderful new Life Jacket Stand built by American Red Cross Brave Heart Youth Good Samaritan Isabel. As her Girl Scout Gold Award project she wants to ensure travelers have easy access to life jackets to promote water safety.

Isabel wants PVR to remind guests and anyone enjoying water this summer to Speak Up For Water Safety by:
*Asking for a Life Jacket
*Check the size and condition of Life Jacket
*Always Wear a life jacket
*Take Boaters Safety Course www.boat-ed.com/wisconsin/
*Take a Swim or Water Safety Course https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class/swimming

Northern Wisconsin is fortunate to have its waters inhabited by the beautiful and majestic loon. Pine Lake has a nesting pair that offers great views in the daytime and melodic songs at night. While you probably won't see one with a turtle on its back, they are just one more feature that ensures you will enjoy your stay at the Pine Valley Retreat.
