"They paved paradise and put up a parking lot...Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you got 'til it's gone..."

Ok so it isn't a parking lot this time, but it is too much nature that is going to destroy not just Dinosaur Valley State Park, but the agriculture lands around it, the water supply to the Upper Trinity Aquifer, the health of generations to come along with a retreating place people come to escape the city and see the stars and dream. These graphics explain how 3 industrial developments are going to impact a way of life not just for the 18,000 people in the surrounding area but for every single person on earth who wants to visit Dinosaur Tracks that survived 113 million years, but can't survive Wall Street Tycoons looking to make a buck on the back of hyperscaler AI centers and the US Government who isn't stopping long enough to say what happens when it's all gone. What happens when the endangered birds are now extinct, what happens when there is no more water - because it was poisoned by cooling chemicals, what happened to the wildlife that no longer has a home. What happened to our towns of people who can't live with the noise and light pollution being shoved down our throats due to secret meetings and non disclosure agreements that prevent transparency in government. Speak Up! It's not just here in Glen Rose and Dinosaur Valley State Park it is all over Texas and the United States and if something isn't done now - we will be leaving every science fiction movie we every saw about life after the apocalypse

: Dinosaur Valley State Park - Texas Parks and Wildlife needs your help!

🚨 HELP SAVE THE PALUXY RIVER & DINOSAUR VALLEY STATE PARK 🚨

One of Texas' most treasured natural wonders is under threat.

The proposed Black Mountain Energy and Sailfish Data Center projects would bring large-scale industrial development to land surrounding Dinosaur Valley State Park and the Paluxy River. This area is home to world-famous dinosaur tracks that have survived for over 100 million years and draw visitors from around the world.

These projects could permanently alter the character of the Paluxy Valley through increased industrial activity, water demands, noise, light pollution, habitat disruption, and impacts to the scenic beauty that makes this region so special.

We cannot stand by while the Paluxy River and its irreplaceable dinosaur tracks are put at risk.

👉 Please contact your local, state, and federal elected officials and urge them to oppose the Black Mountain Energy and Sailfish Data Center projects near Dinosaur Valley State Park.

👉 Support the fight by donating to Protect the Paluxy Valley, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the Paluxy River, protecting our natural resources, and defending the future of this unique Texas landscape. www.protectpaluxy.com

Every letter matters.
Every phone call matters.
Every donation matters.

Together, we can protect the Paluxy River, preserve Dinosaur Valley State Park, and ensure future generations can experience the same natural wonder that we enjoy today.

7 years ago I sat at a dining room table with strangers and announced I was the new owner of Inn on the River. 1 member of that staff still works for me today and over the years we have had fabulous employees who helped us shape what makes Inn on the River and Snyder’s Tavern the places it is today. Relaxing, a way to disconnect from the constant barrage of noise.

Glen Rose is such a special place and Inn on the River lets us show a little bit of special.

Let’s admit it the 7 years weren’t easy - CoVid, inflation, fires, freezes, tariff wars, war in Russia and now Middle East. We scrap by and pray a lot but we love what we do and the people we provide a break from reality.

Since Nov 1984 the inn has welcomed guests to the hotel and since 1919 the property has helped people - we are honored to continue these traditions and hope to continue in the years to come.

By the way Snyder’s Private Club officially open on Oct 1 2019 and the tavern on AUG 22, 2020. So more anniversaries to come
