Diamond K Lodge

If you are looking for a great place to stay for upcoming events in the area then be sure to visit us and/or book a stay at www.lodgediamondk.com , VRBO or AirBNB (below).

October 7–10 — ITLA International Championship
This one is particularly important for Glen Rose itself. The Expo at Glen Rose is specifically designed for large equestrian/livestock events, including stalls and RV infrastructure, and ITLA describes its event as a premier national Texas Longhorn gathering.

October 17–18 — Spartan Weekend, Granbury
This is different from a normal festival because competitors and their families can generate overnight stays, restaurant traffic and tourism activity throughout the weekend.

October 22–25 — Walnut Springs Rally + Granbury Harvest Moon Festival
Two multi-day events occur essentially simultaneously on opposite sides of Glen Rose, potentially creating a particularly active regional weekend.

November 21–22 — Active Joe Endurance Race
This is directly in the Glen Rose area and should bring destination runners and accompanying visitors.

November 27–29 — Thanksgiving/Christmas kickoff
This may be one of the more important tourism weekends of the remainder of the year: Granbury's Night of Lights is Friday, Nov. 27, followed by Glen Rose's Christmas Parade on Saturday, Nov. 28.

December 4–6 — Granbury Candlelight Tour
Granbury explicitly markets the Candlelight Tour as part of its larger Christmas destination experience, including decorated downtown areas, carriage rides and holiday programming.

Nothing but 5 star reviews but always love hearing directly from our guests after a stay at the Lodge!

"We just pulled out of the gate. Wanted to thank you again for the late checkout - it truly made a difference for our time in Glen Rose! We loved our stay at the home and, as I’m sure you’ve heard many times before from other guests, found it to be better than the listing photos.

Thanks again and Happy 4th!

Rebecca"
