61 pull-through spaces (4 ADA compliant)
Sites $40 nightly

- RVs must enter thru either the South gate (24 hours) located .5 miles South of Glendale Ave on Litchfield Road or the Lightning gate 0500-2100 (preferred) located .2 miles North of Glendale Ave on Litchfield Road.
- Guest passes are available at the Lightning gate Visitor's Center Mon-Fri 0700-1600 / Sat-Sun 0800-1300 or at the gate after hours. You can call them at 623-856-4991/4993.

E NOTE: Personnel with VA cards that say "SERVICE CONNECTED" must have their VA ID card registered annually through the Lightning Gate Visitor's Center BEFORE BEING ABLE TO ENTER THE BASE. You MUST do this during their hours of operation or you will be denied entry to the base.
- All reservations are made over the phone or in person with a $35 non-refundable deposit paid covering the first night with the balance paid upon check in.
-Short-term reservation up to 30 days maximum and can be renewed at the end of the reservation for up to 30 days, based on availability; refunds are provided (except $35 deposit).
- Extended stays reservation for 90-days (25 spots maximum) available; can be renewed once at the end of the reservation for 90 days, based upon availability; no refunds are provided except for bona fide, verifiable emergencies

Today we celebrate the life of an amazing human being, our FamCamp Manager or Lance is how everyone knew him. He was one of the kindest people we have had the privilege of knowing and working with. He has made so many wonderful memories for our campers and his wonderful team, past and current. He will be deeply missed by everyone at Outdoor Recreation, FSS and especially by the FamCamp family. He will be forever missed and always remembered and talked about for many years to come. 🩷

Lightning Gate Visitor Center closed 21 Dec - 3 Jan
South Gate will remain open 24 hours daily
South Gate Visitor Center will operate 0700-1600 daily

** Active duty personnel can reserve a site up to 2 months ahead to the day and Retired/DoD/Disabled Veterans who are 100% with an issued DOD ID card or a VA "Service Connected" ID card can reserve a site up to 1 month ahead to the day.
**Retired DoD personnel must have their SF171 and go to the South Gate Visitor Center during business hours (M-F 0800-1500) to obtain a DBDS ID that is good for one year**
**All guests 17yrs old or older being sponsored MUST have either a REAL ID or one of the following acceptable forms of ID with a picture:
