Here's what some of our guests have to say about Brick House on Main:
"A true home away from home! Cathy and Jim welcomed us into their lovely Bed and Breakfast, we couldn't have asked for more. They have set the standard high for future bed and breakfasts for us. The breakfasts were a great way to start the day and always tailored to our requests, and it was so nice being able to decide what time we wanted to eat in the morning. We also appreciated the recommendations for restaurants and museums nearby. The room we stayed in was beautifully furnished and the bed was really comfortable. We enjoyed the fresh made breakfast each morning and relaxing on the front porch swing and in their back patio. If you are looking for a great place to unwind and escape the chaos of daily life, I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. We will definitely come back and stay with these wonderful hosts again in the future. Highly recommend asking for those as well." B&A from Marysville, OH
"We had a wonderful stay at the Brick House on Main. Although we arrived very late our hosts were there to welcome us and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was comfortable and we also really enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and discussing local history. They really care about their guests and my wife and I look forward to staying again." --E&S from Redmond, WA
"The brick house on main was easily the nicest b&b my wife and I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The owners Jim and Cathy have done an amazing job keeping charms of an old house, like wood floors and a claw foot tub, but they have added some very small touches of upgrades that make the rooms very nice and comfortable. The owners themselves are some of the nicest people that you will ever want to meet. Jim braved the ice on the side walk to offer to help us carry our bags in, and was very helpful in deciding where to go for dinner and lunch. Cathy made one of the best breakfasts that my wife and I have had in a long time, and the conversation was great. The bed was super comfortable and the metal four poster framework around it was gorgeous. We can’t wait to go back and hopefully spend more than one night next time." - J&S from Uniontown, OH

Today we had fun serving homemade ice cream to the Indian Valley High School Band after their last pre-season rehearsal. These kids, AKA the "Flight Crew", have been working hard on their new show, "Escape Velocity".
We love our little town and the people who live here, and we're honored to be part of your community.

Have you ever had a Dutch Baby? It's a cross between a crepe and a popover. It's baked in a cast iron skillet until the batter puffs up the sides to create a bowl. This morning our guests enjoyed a Dutch Baby with sauteed fresh peaches from and a dusting of powdered sugar. They loved it!
Ask for a Dutch Baby when you stay at Brick House on Main Bed & Breakfast! Our breakfasts are made from scratch just for our guests, and we love it when a guest asks for a breakfast they saw on our social media.

Our guest requested "something pretty" for breakfast.
Challenge accepted!
Behold our fan-favorite French toast topped with juicy peaches and black raspberries! Instead of maple syrup, we offered homemade creme Anglaise - a silky vanilla custard cream.
How did we do? She asked for the recipe, so we'd call that a win!

Some might say this is just a picture of empty ice cream containers.
We would say it's the end result of more than 250 people stopping by Brick House on Main tonight for our ice cream social.
We were blessed to spend our evening visiting with old friends and meeting new ones while our amazing daughters & son-in-law served up dish after dish of homemade ice cream. Rachel, Bethany & Ben - we couldn't do this without you.
Thanks to everyone who came. Our annual ice cream social is our gift to you, and we look forward to it every year. We appreciate your support and kind words.
Special shout-out to everyone who made tonight's fireworks possible. Every year we are astonished (and so very grateful) that Gnadenhutten has such an incredible fireworks show. We are blessed to live in such a wonderful community. Thank you.
