Today's culinary adventure was at Classic Biryani on Main Street in Manchester. The Chicken Lollipops were amazing! The seasoning of the lightly breaded/fried chicken wing drumsticks (medium spice level was plenty for us) was very flavorful on its own, but the mint chutney was a perfect pairing! Dara and I both enjoyed the Special Goat Biryani although I felt like they were a bit stingy with the meat, which led to the whole dish being a bit less flavorful than I would have liked. Overall, we rated it 8/10. NOTE: I forgot to take a picture of the biryani so I stole this one from their own menu. It's pretty close to what ours looked like.

Ok, I missed posting our restaurant rating last Friday (AND I forgot to take our selfie), but Dara and I did have lunch at The Dancing Yeti in Manchester; Nepalese and Indian food. We shared the Chicken Momos (which were excellent!), the Samosa Chaat, and the Masala Fries (both of which were very good). The setting is casual and the service was courteous. We agreed on a rating of 8/10.

This week: Don Quijote Dominican restaurant in Manchester. Did not disappoint! We both had lunch specials and both opted for the red stew (Guisado). Dara had the chicken and I had the beef. Both were unexpectedly tender and tasty. The rice was flavorful enough to have been a meal on its own! The service was good overall and I appreciated that the server was patient with my lousy Spanish. Rating: 9 out of 10!
