We just dumped Starlink and now have FIBEROPTIC CABLE!!! Three times the speed of that other system at a fraction of the cost!!! So you can do Zoom meetings out here with no fear, and stream with ease.

FEAR NOT THE DISTANCE!

We're really happy to announce that Wallace River Retreat is now EV Friendly! We just installed a Chargepoint Level 2 EV Charger, 220V on a 60A breaker, so it's rated for 50+ Amps. Drive on up and plug on in.

Beautiful property and lovely house
This is a huge property with a large riverfront and beautiful trees and landscaping throughout - absolutely one of the best places we have ever stayed in. We loved all the outdoor spaces - played badmitton and bocce on the lawn, read in the hammocks, played games on the table by the river, made s'mores at the firepit, ate outside on both decks and soaked in the hot tub. We even splashed around in the river. So many places to escape by yourself or do things together. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The music shed was amazing for family jam sessions. The inside renovation was well done, comfortable and had all the ameneties we required, plus some extras that were nice - tons of games, DVDs, great exterior lighting, swings, and air conditioning. We didn't have a dog or young kids, but the property would be great for both as it is fenced all around. It was a fantastic, relaxing stay for our family - wish we could have stayed longer!

Following the new paint job, we upgraded the musical equipment inside the Homestead Studio too! There's a new Fender amp with great warm tones - a little small but plenty big for the size of the room, and a full-size Ibanez semi-hollow body bass guitar, the one I used to play in my band years ago. Come and get your jam on!

The original fishing/hunting cabin (the Music Room) just got a fresh coat of paint! The satin finish really highlights all the various textures of the nearly hundred-year-old siding.

Did you catch that bit about the Music Studio? It's true - the original fishing/hunting cabin next to the riverbank is outfitted with everything you need to get your rock star on. Bring the whole group - everyone can play the bongos, claves, and tambourine!

"This property is beautiful and very well maintained. The cabin is comfy and has a ton of charm. Lots of little special details.

The grounds are amazing with lots of adorable and beautiful different spots to explore and enjoy.

Would absolutely recommend this property. They provided lots of indoor and outdoor games with fishing poles and everything. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, they have a beautifully equipped music studio and allow access!!!
