Exciting news! You can now access a free local shuttle that will run from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekends and holidays this summer, starting May 23 and running through Labor Day on Sept. 7.

You can hop on the shuttle, but walking down our driveway and going to the Dinosaur Ridge Discovery Center. (700 ft walk)

No tickets or reservations are required. Available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Shuttles will arrive every 15 minutes at each of the six stops. They are, from north to south:

The RTD station at the Jeffco Government Center;

Matthews/Winters Open Space Park;

Dinosaur Ridge’s Martin G. Lockley Discovery Center;

The Trading Post at Red Rocks Park;

Downtown Morrison; and

The Morrison Natural History Museum.

Your easiest way to get outside this weekend. Take the FREE Westracks community shuttle. Weekends and holidays, 9 AM to 5 PM from Memorial Day to Labor Day! The Jefferson County Archives is excited to introduce a new online home for historical research. Our redesigned Digital Collections site makes it easier than ever to explore the history of Jefferson County—its government, its land, and the people who shaped our community.

Browse digitized photographs, documents, maps, and historical records from the Archives’ collections. Highlights include property assessment records, Board of County Commissioners records (1862–1976), historic maps and plats, water rights documents, postcards, local history papers, scrapbooks, and photographs capturing the people and places that make Jefferson County unique.
