Our hummingbirds were very active this afternoon! There were at least a half dozen battling for feeder space, and several more flitting about above the Mountain Laurel. I was even dive-bombed a few times, which I found much more thrilling than the time last year I was attacked by a mockingbird when I went out to get the morning paper. These little creatures are so much fun to watch!
