Fresh from Chef Erica’s kitchen 🍓

Nuns’ puffs filled with strawberry Bavarian cream, finished with a bold strawberry sauce, fresh berries, and a dusting of powdered sugar.

Just another morning around the breakfast table at Osceola Mill House.

Built by hands. Sustained by generations. 🇺🇸

Long before Labor Day became a national holiday, places like Lancaster County were shaped by the daily work of farmers, millers, craftsmen, tradesmen, and families.

This Labor Day, we pause to recognize the generations of working Americans whose hands, determination, and ingenuity built the communities we call home.

From a stone house built in 1766 to the farms still being worked around us today, their legacy is everywhere.

Happy Labor Day from Osceola Mill House. 🇺🇸

September mornings. 🌅

The sun rises a little later. The air feels a little different. And Lancaster County begins its slow turn toward fall.

There’s something special about these in-between days — summer hasn’t quite left us, but autumn is beginning to make itself known.

A quiet reminder of God’s goodness in every season.

Good morning from Osceola Mill House.

This is Lancaster County. 🌾

Blue skies, cornfields, fresh-cut hay… and a couple of the neighbors enjoying their morning.

If you see her, be sure to say hello to Miracle — and thank her for helping keep the Osceola Mill House kitchen supplied. 🐄

Around here, knowing where breakfast comes from sometimes means knowing her by name.

Surprise pumpkin update: we have bounty! 🎃

What started as an experiment might actually yield results.

Our mystery pumpkin patch has officially produced its first little pumpkin — and Fern, self-appointed Pumpkin Queen, is quite pleased with this development.

We’ll see what September brings. 🍂

Sometimes Lancaster County gives you a little preview. 🎈

The Bird-in-Hand Hot Air Balloon Festival returns September 25–26 — just down the road from Osceola Mill House.

Come for the balloons. Stay for the back roads, quiet mornings, and a Lancaster County breakfast waiting downstairs.

Make a weekend of it.

This is what late summer tastes like. 🍑

Fresh peaches cooked down in brown sugar, spooned over brown-butter cardamom Belgian waffles and finished with vanilla-cardamom whipped cream.

From the cutting board to the breakfast table — and, apparently, not much left behind.

Breakfast at Osceola Mill House isn't an afterthought. It's part of coming home.

Good morning. 🌸
