Seasons Greetings! We have one cabin still available over Christmas. The Half Pint Lodge is located in the heart of Government Camp and has a maximum occupancy of two. The Christmas session has a check-in on 12/23 or earlier and a check-out on 12/26. The rate per night is $183 plus tax. For the first time in over 3 months we have a weekend available in the Half Pint Lodge. Due to recent storms we have quadrupled the amount of snow on the ground from 3 weeks ago. Come on up and enjoy a weekend in the mountains.

Consumer savings tip! If you are considering a stay in one of our cabins you will not have to pay any fees if you book directly with us. If you use VRBO, Airbnb, or most of the other large listing companies they charge one or more fees that can substantially add to the cost of your lodging. For example, if you reserve one of our cabins through VRBO you will pay in excess of $30 per night more than if you call or email us and book direct with us. In addition, we have blocked out dates on our VRBO calendar that are still available if you book directly with us.

At the request of several guests over the past few years we finally completed our bed upgrade (I'll be the first to say that it was about time). I am happy to report that all the two-person beds are now either a queen or king size. Due to the steep and short flights of stairs in the cabins some of the beds required specialized box springs to make it all work. Thankfully a local mattress manufacturer worked with us to make what we needed.
