Fun fact, this one is called a Blue Moon. That happens when there are two full moons in the same calendar month. It’s where the phrase “once in a blue moon” comes from.

The next full moon over the lake will be June 29, known as a Strawberry Moon. Not because it turns pink, but because it lines up with strawberry harvest season. 🍓

Congrats to everyone who ran in this past weekend’s Possum’s Revenge, including a few of our guests. We loved having you and hope you’ll be back next year.

Motorboat Inn owners Jason and Nancy Harrison make it a tradition every year. It’s a tough course, but worth every mile. Jason finished 5th overall in the 17-mile and took 1st in his Masters division. Nancy had a strong finish in the 8-mile. That’s how it’s done!

Thanks to Blaze Trails Running for another great event. We’ll see you in 2027.
