🍽️ Exciting News from The Hungry Fox! 🍽️
We are pleased to welcome Chef Alan Irvin to The Hungry Fox family!
Chef Alan brings more than 30 years of culinary experience to our kitchen, with a background that spans everything from neighborhood cafés and luxury hotels to golf resorts and fine dining establishments. Classically trained in French cuisine, Chef Alan has also developed expertise in Italian specialties, Southwest flavors, and traditional smokehouse BBQ.
Throughout his career, Chef Alan has built a reputation for creating exceptional dining experiences through innovative menu development, memorable special events, and a passion for quality ingredients and hospitality. His experience includes leading culinary programs for weddings, private parties, corporate events, and destination dining experiences.
Over the coming weeks and months, guests can look forward to exciting new specials and creative dishes that showcase Chef Alan’s talent and passion for great food. We can’t wait for you to experience some of the fresh ideas he’ll be bringing to The Hungry Fox.
And before anyone asks… don’t worry — the famous Hungry Fox Catfish isn’t going anywhere! 😄

Starting 5/11/26 we’re cleaning up the joint and making The Hungry Fox better looking & even cooler inside for those hot Texas days ahead. 🔨❄️

We’ll keep everyone posted as we get closer to completion, and in the meantime…

🍹 Foxy’s Cantina will be OPEN and ready to serve all your favorite food and drinks 7 days a week!

🍹 Foxy’s Cantina is OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK 🍔

Only the Hungry Fox restaurant is temporarily closed for remodeling as we work on an exciting refresh and updated new look. During construction, Foxy’s Cantina, the resort, cabins, RV park, and lake access all remain fully open and operating as normal.

We currently anticipate a 2–3 week completion timeline and truly appreciate everyone’s continued support while we make things even better at Fox Hollow Resort! ❤️
