Our beloved Johnny O passed away over the weekend. John played a significant role in our lives. He came to me when I was experiencing deep despair and uncertainty. My world was upside down and I didn't know how to move forward. It was a very dark time. John gave me faith and helped me create a vision for the future. He restored my trust and taught me how to laugh and love again.
John was the catalyst for The White Rose Bed and Breakfast. Once I shared my idea with him, he did everything to encourage me to follow my dream. When he showed up at Christmas with a beautiful custom sign in hand for the business, I knew there was no turning back. And how the B&B guests loved him! He knew how to light up a room. They said he had more stories than Walt Disney. Where's the 'Big Guy', they'd all ask.
Not only was he there for me but for my daughters Katie and Kelly as well. He loved them both as his own. He was always present, cheering them on in all their endeavors. He was kind, patient, and gave of himself selflessly in so many ways.
He was my best friend, the love of my life, my John Wayne

In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
That no one could ever fill
