*Day Trip Inspiration* The moose are BACK in Grand Lake and on that side of Rocky Mountain National Park… AND there is still plenty of snow inside the park! (And VERY few visitors.) Drive slow while looking, there are many reports of them being on roadsides and darting out. And to really feel like you’re on a safari, get off and scan the bluffs at the Dumont exit- the bighorns are also bighorning!

Did you know there’s plenty of snow in Rocky Mountain National Park on the Grand Lake side? If your little reindeers are lamenting the scarcity of the white stuff, the cabin is available tonight and tomorrow night and it’s just a five minute drive form where you will need your boots! You can build a snowman in the park, you can look for moose, and then you can come home and light a crackling fire in the woodstove. Go find what your heart craves, the Rocky Mountain Christmas, complete with a wooden boardwalk in that hallmark small town feel. And there’s even a little snow on the ground at the cabin still!
