Having a restricted diet is HARD, especially on vacation. Good news is that they have a great variety of allergen free treats. Gluten-free cake pops are delicious, I can't compare because I've only had them here, but so good!! I no longer have to watch everyone else enjoy the baked goods! I haven't tried the Gluten-free wraps/subs yet, but they're on my list!! There's also dairy free ice cream!

We are ready for summer!! Fresh coat of paint. New grill. Patio furniture out. Sun shining. A calm lake. In between all the work we did have fun! We hit up Lake Superior Brewing Company , The Breakwall , Superior Hardware - Grand Marais, MI , Grand Marais Outfitters Michigan , The Market Place , and bonus, Superior Scoops had superman ice-cream this weekend!!

These events are so much fun!!! I love a good silent auction and the last 3 years have been great ones (yes, Im an item stalker) Im missing it this year to be at the start in Marquette, but Grand Marais definitely makes the most of the turn around!!

UP 200 is an amazing experience to watch, the 2 years it was canceled Grand Marais still put on a great day at the community center with food, silent auction, photobooth, bonfire, and more. I've seen the start in Marquette and the turn around in GM, and the turn around is my favorite, this bus would be cool too. Come stay and play, in Grand Marais!

The Mush Bus is back! ❄️🚍

Hop on the Mush Bus from Marquette or Munising for a chauffeured and guided round trip to Grand Marais on the Saturday of race weekend, February 14th. Passengers will enjoy the comforts of a full-size Checker bus (including a restroom). Marquette passengers will depart from the Holiday Inn at 11am and Munising passengers will be picked up at the Falling Rock Cafe around 12 noon. Approximate arrival time is 1:15 pm in Grand Marais. The bus will depart Grand Marais following the silent auction, around 4pm, with arrival time in Marquette at 6-6:30pm.

We're excited to welcome Leijhe Koval back as our tour guide this year. Leijhe serves as a guide for the Marquette Regional History Center’s bus tours and will guide you on a fun and interesting mushing journey!

What a great deal!! We think the dream bean coffee drinks are the best, they easily beat out any big name chain coffee shop. It's not quite a half mile from the house, and right on the snowmobile loop through town.
