These events are so much fun!!! I love a good silent auction and the last 3 years have been great ones (yes, Im an item stalker) Im missing it this year to be at the start in Marquette, but Grand Marais definitely makes the most of the turn around!!

UP 200 is an amazing experience to watch, the 2 years it was canceled Grand Marais still put on a great day at the community center with food, silent auction, photobooth, bonfire, and more. I've seen the start in Marquette and the turn around in GM, and the turn around is my favorite, this bus would be cool too. Come stay and play, in Grand Marais!

The Mush Bus is back! ❄️🚍

Hop on the Mush Bus from Marquette or Munising for a chauffeured and guided round trip to Grand Marais on the Saturday of race weekend, February 14th. Passengers will enjoy the comforts of a full-size Checker bus (including a restroom). Marquette passengers will depart from the Holiday Inn at 11am and Munising passengers will be picked up at the Falling Rock Cafe around 12 noon. Approximate arrival time is 1:15 pm in Grand Marais. The bus will depart Grand Marais following the silent auction, around 4pm, with arrival time in Marquette at 6-6:30pm.

We're excited to welcome Leijhe Koval back as our tour guide this year. Leijhe serves as a guide for the Marquette Regional History Center’s bus tours and will guide you on a fun and interesting mushing journey!

What a great deal!! We think the dream bean coffee drinks are the best, they easily beat out any big name chain coffee shop. It's not quite a half mile from the house, and right on the snowmobile loop through town.

Tree is up at the house. Snow is getting ready, celebrate the holiday with some snow sports in a house that you don't have to clean!! Enough beds for 10, a sleeper sofa, and plenty of floor space, come stay and play for the holidays!

How is your commute this morning? The guys started last night panning and packing.

"Float" is ready for starry starry night! Love small town comradery, thank you to our property manager/friend/owner of Superior Orchards for the impressive glue guns, (I will be upgrading) and to our friend/owner of Grand Marais Powersports for letting me use the side by side for the 2nd year for the parade. Pics to come after the tree lighting and I get done shopping downtown!
