We still have more than a few dozen photos to post but as in Touch Tunes, we fast passed this one. When seeing cousin brothers Al and Lou sitting on Mary's Bench mid afternoon of the 4th, I couldn't pass up pouring a short one and joining in. I'm uncertain why cousin Josie wasn't in this photo as she was sitting off to the side. We brought up Gram and Gramp Grump! I included this throwback photo of them standing in the same place as we were sitting 7 to 8 decades previous. I could hear gramp thinking "Where are their ci**rs"? We will have to have a repeat of this setting soon!

Well, okay, high school pal, Billy Britz was back for another year with Sandy and he even had his son Tyler and his significant other with him. I played America the Beautiful by Ray Charles via Touch Tunes from the campfire and waited to hear it blast out from Grand Marais Tavern thinking Biily and Sandy were enjoying lunch. I didn't get a text from him like last year after the third play, "Could you play some Rolling Stones"? LOL! He and Sandy were at his best pal, Bobby Beaune's, campsite. Fun Times!

Last year Theresa and Greg Upsur had rented the entire hotel for their 5 grown children and their growing grandchildren....

Last year Theresa and Greg Upsur had rented the entire hotel for their 5 grown children and their growing grandchildren. A couple of those farm girls are playing some travel basketball this summer but they had several of da grown and grand kids up. Maybe my favorite is Nolan waving during the parade. We later in the week zoomed in on 4 of his agates. What a treat to have them here for a sunny 4th of July; One photo includes Doug and Amy sitting at the table with Greg and Theresa and yes, Ethan's plane became a fixture for a few days on top of our refrigerator. It just doesn't get any better.

What a stellar cast of characters we had for the USA's 250th Birthday Anniversary Celebration. One couple (Cory & Ciara even made it to the top of Crisp Point's Lighthouse) where Cory proposed. Mike stopped by and seemed to still be concussed from when Bessie the Bowflex cross section came down on his forehead which led to us having to saw through the shed's sealing so we could put the once legendary outdoor workout machine back together after dismantling it. We could see him dressing his pet dog in Lions attire but the yellow shoes were a dead giveaway! We sent him east to Rich O'Brien's for some more R & R!
