And, well, Sunday morning, I felt like a King, when these three queens (Randy called them Angels) cleared off the table next to my desk with the exception of the bottles of bourbon donated by Kurt for the infamous Trash Flask. Ms. Kim on the left, daughter of Laurie in the middle, and schooled by retired Elk Rapids teacher, Kerry (all whom have been guests for about a decade-more or less) began creating 4 hearty Bloody Marys for breakfast. It's Ms Kim's favorite thing to do each Sunday morning which in the past has been her prelude to her singing in a foreign language from the Mermaid Room "Taking Care of Business" while we listen from around the campfire! What a great vocalist and even bi-lingual, she shames such Canadian female vocalists as K.D. Lang and Joni Mitchel as they listen on across Lake Superior. What a morning and weekend with some of the best Labor Day Weekend weather in recent memory. And, before the th*****me left, Neil Young was calling ,asking if Ms. Kim would be his and Crazy Horse's lead vocalist! They heard her while playing up at the Arctic Circle.
