Clearwater Historic Lodge & Canoe Outfitters Gunflint Trail Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness BWCA Resort and Outfitter
(298)

Our historic lodge is the largest remaining whole log structure in the entire region which has been preserved and maintained over the years to retain the look and feel of a time gone by. We also have 11 great cabins that sit right on the shore’s edge of the pristine waters of Clearwater lake. We also provide outfitted canoe trips and rental gear for those wanting to paddle, camp and explore the BWCA.

Every season we have memorable groups come through our outfitting shop - this group of young women embarked on a gnome themed bachelorette trip, and they were just alot of fun to have around. They somehow found the "Wit's End" sign over my shop door and got tattoo's of it on the night of their return. Thanks for the pics Bailey Veal!

If any of our friends ever wanted to experience lodge life behind the scenes and have availability in August & September here's a good opportunity. We are going to be a bit short handed with some staff going back to school. The pay is modest, the staff housing is adequate, the food is great and the location is fantastic. Message us or email if you might be interested! [email protected]
