WE’RE HIRING | FULL TIME HOUSEKEEPER

Skyport Lodge is looking for a dependable, detail oriented person to join our team as a full time housekeeper, five days a week.

This is not necessarily a 40 hour per week position, but we’re looking for someone who wants a consistent five day schedule and can take ownership of keeping our property clean, comfortable and welcoming.

The work is varied and no two days look exactly the same. You’ll help care for:

• Lodge rooms and larger suites
• Our three bedroom cabins
• Common areas throughout the Lodge
• Laundry, linens and general housekeeping needs
• Occasional deeper cleaning and seasonal projects

Competitive pay based on experience. Schedule and additional details can be discussed.

Tonight’s the night!

Josh has TWO prime rib roasts going, and they’ll be ready starting at 5 PM

And we’re pretty excited about the size of these baked potatoes… they’re HUGE. 😂

Choose mashed potatoes, mashed potatoes & gravy, French fries, or a giant baked potato, served with sautéed vegetables and garlic toast.

Don’t forget to ask your server for a side of horseradish or creamy horsey sauce!

And remember — Friday night is now Prime Rib Night at the Lodge! See you at the Port! ✌🏼🍻

The days can feel long, but somehow the seasons pass so quickly. ❤️

With my kiddos heading back to school next week, I’m reminded just how fast it all goes. The return to routine is always welcome, but I’ll miss their presence throughout my days and those little everyday moments together that summer gives us.

Last night, walking Bailey and Ranger and watching another beautiful Devil Track sunset, I found myself thinking about how much we have to be grateful for. Our family, our friends, this community, our animals, this beautiful place we call home and the opportunities this life continues to give us.

We’ve endured incredible heartbreak with losing Cory, and there will always be a piece of our lives that looks and feels different without him. But through it all, there is still so much beauty, love and life happening around us.

I woke up this morning feeling especially grateful for all of it. ❤️

Well, tonight’s adventure wasn’t exactly on the agenda.

One of our fishing boats broke loose from the lift, so off we went on a little rescue mission. A huge thank you to our neighbors, the Berglands, for helping us retrieve it! Of course, I had my two best friends in tow, Ranger and Bailey.

The unexpected adventure came with a pretty great reward, another absolutely gorgeous Devil Track Lake sunset.

Once we made it back to the dock, I was tidying up the boat, organizing fishing poles and putting everything back where it belonged. As the video shows, Ranger was very intently watching my every move with the fishing poles.

If you’ve ever met Ranger, you know this dog is an avid angler. I’ve honestly never known a dog to be so intrigued and excited about fishing. Apparently his mom and siblings are the same way, so I guess it runs in the family. 😂

Not a bad ending to an unexpected Tuesday night adventure on Devil Track Lake.

Happy National Dog Day to the two lovable crazies who pretty much run the place, Bailey & Ranger! ❤️

These two are such a huge part of our family and life at the Lodge. We’re pretty darn lucky to live where our pups can be in tow for just about every adventure. Lake days, trails, boat rides, campfires… you name it.

It’s also one of the reasons we love that Skyport is pet friendly. Around here, dogs are family, and bringing them along just feels natural.

HELP WANTED | JOIN THE SKYPORT CREW!

Business continues to grow at Skyport Lodge, and we’re looking for a few more helping hands around the property!

We’re hiring part-time support staff to help with a little bit of everything — general lodge cleaning, housekeeping, groundskeeping, property upkeep and whatever the day may bring. No two days look exactly the same, which makes for a fun, varied work environment.

The details:
• Part-time, approximately 4–5 days per week
• Variety of indoor & outdoor work
• We take the month of November off and resume operations in December
• Could be a seasonal gig or a long-term position for the right person
• Looking for someone dependable, hardworking and willing to jump in where needed

Maybe it’s your family. Maybe it’s the friend who has known you forever. Maybe it’s someone new who somehow feels like they’ve been part of your life for years.

The older I get, the more I realize how important that time is. Sitting around a table, sharing a meal, laughing, catching up and simply being together.

And really, that’s what Skyport has become. A place for family, community and connection. A place where people gather, spend time together, make memories and hopefully leave feeling a little more full than when they arrived.
