About Us

White Pine Lodge is a unique, family owned northwoods retreat located in north eastern Minnesota just off the historic Gunflint Trail on Poplar Lake. Owners, Chris and Allison, along with their pup Clarence, took over the lodge in August of 2022. The Lodge is built out of white cedar and has 3 cozy, private guest rooms, both with 3/4 baths. In addition, we have 6 extremely clean, quaint and comfortable cabins, all with 3/4 baths, full kitchens, wood burning stoves/fireplaces, and private bonfire pits. 4 cabins have their own private docks and the other 2 enjoy common use of our large, main lodge dock. Our campground was built in 2023 and contains 4 campsites with electrical hookup. All cabins/lodge rooms/campsites come with complimentary use of canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, snowshoes, as well as firewood. Inside the lodge you will find two beautiful, huge native stone fireplaces that are wonderful to warm yourself by in the colder months. We are a semi-remote northwoods vacation retreat for outdoor enthusiasts. Perfect for couples or small groups. We are located on a quiet bay of Poplar Lake which has 3 entry points into the coveted Boundary Water Canoe area.
