I took this with my phone tonight at the new wedding barn. I’ve often thought we should’ve named this Big Sky Ranch. The sky is huge. The views are expansive. Pair this with a white barn, warm twinkling lights within, and it’s a kind of magic you can’t manufacture. No light pollution, no city noise, just nature-the most beautiful and luxurious backdrop of all. And yes, I frequently see shooting stars here! ✨💫🌾

🌿 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 — 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🌿

After an unexpected pause, we are beyond excited to share that we are officially booking weddings again for 2026! 🤍

As many of you know, a tornado destroyed our original barn, forcing us to cancel all 2025 weddings. While that loss was heartbreaking, it opened the door to something new and charming in a different way!

Rather than rebuilding the old barn, we’ve chosen to reimagine our space.

✨ 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲
What remains is a 4,800 sq. ft. concrete pad, which we are thoughtfully transforming into an open-air reception venue designed to let our scenic grounds serve as a natural backdrop.

✨ 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘂𝗽 (𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻!)
While planning for weather contingencies, we explored available barns on our main farm and found one with qualities we once dreamed about for the original venue. This space features:
• Over 9,000 sq. ft. of covered area
• An additional 3,300 sq. ft. uncovered patio
• Gorgeous high beams and stunning sunset views
• Enough space to comfortably host both ceremony and reception under one roof

At 2.5 times the size of our original barn, it offers flexibility, flow, and beauty — and it’s located just 2 miles from our main venue space.

✨ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱
While we no longer offer climate control (air-conditioning and heat), we’ve gained:
• More space
• Bigger views
• A more intentional open-air concept — the patio was always the most used space of our old barn!

Because of this, our wedding season will now run mid-March through mid-November.

💍 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
Tours and reservations have officially begun, with a re-opening date of May 2026.

Photos shown are realistic renderings of how these spaces are expected to look when styled with our existing tables, chairs, and décor inventory. (Included are some simple photos of the barn we’ll be renovating.)

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your continued support. We cannot wait to welcome couples back and celebrate their love stories in our re-envisioned space. 🤍

Many have probably heard by now that our wedding barn was hit by a tornado last week. It’s a total loss, and we don’t plan to rebuild at this time. All weddings and tours have unfortunately been cancelled.

The rest of the property is under repair and cleanup, and the lodge itself will remain open as usual. It will be slightly different, but beautiful as always.

We want to thank everyone, past and present, who has chosen us as their venue. It’s been a tough week processing the swift change of direction, right as we were preparing for our first weddings of the year. Thanks again for your support!
