Hello everyone, thanks for checking out our page. So there is a long story behind the construction of our home and we may post that some other time!
We decided to open our home up to share with hopefully as many family and friends as we can (maybe others). We love the Marble Falls/Granite Shoals/Lake LBJ area and especially love being on the lake. The area is so beautiful with such a great small town feel and so many fun things to do and great places to eat.
We sure would love to personalize the experience for anyone interested. Let us know what you have in mind. A quick weekend getaway? A longer stay during the summer or spring break? Guided boat trip for all or part of a day? We have it (pics of boat to follow). Have your own boat? Bring it. It is a modest 3/2 that's just over 1200 Sq feet but the plan is for bunk beds in two of the rooms to accommodate plenty of kids. Dogs are negotiable (the lake is no fun without your dog) but we ask that they are well behaved and you are responsible for damages and cleaning them up after a swim in the lake. Doggie door provided to covered back porch and fenced back yard for fun times for the pups!
Unfortunately, no cats because we are allergic and would prefer not having the hair in the ventilation system.
Please share the page. Please share ideas. We have a few that will be forth coming. This is our home away from home and we have family in the area so that is why we decided to build out there. We decided to open it up to others so they could enjoy it but also so we could afford it because we still have our house in Austin. Thank you to everyone for checking out our page.
Also, thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way to make this dream come true (we have been our own general contractors with major help from so many people but a select few in particular). Specifically Seleste's parents with all their moral support and materials support and Andy Solorzano who has been a life saver in the construction process (Lonestar construction if you need slab and framing work), Thank you to Ms. Connie and Rollie Grizzard for constantly checking on the property when it's being built. Thank you to Drew Wood for doing the electrical work. We have many references for subs out in that area if anyone ever needs help on their own project or repairs. More pics and info to follow. It's projected to be completed sometime in September 2021.
The house will also be used on a donation type status for families in need for church activities associated with Seleste's parents ministry and Joseph's Food Pantry located in Granite Shoals. If you have a family in need. Please let us know.
Thank you, The Kos family
