We're heartbroken by the news of the missing tubers downstream. Our thoughts and prayers are with the individuals, their families and everyone involved in the search efforts.

We also want to provide an update for our guests who have reached out with questions.

Chinook Campground River Trips are operating as normal. The area where the search is taking place is downstream from our river route and does not impact our float trips or our launch.

We appreciate the incredible work of the emergency personnel involved in the search and ask everyone to respect any closures or directions given by law enforcement in the affected area. (Maple Island launch)

It’s rare but we have electric/water sites open for this weekend due to some last minute cancellations. The weather is calling for warm temps and lots of sunshine which makes it the perfect weekend for camping. Enjoy a float down the Muskegon river, send the kids to the bounce park for a foam party & roast smore’s over the campfire. Don’t forget to enjoy the heated pool, playgrounds, sport courts & our on-site restaurants serving all three meals, espresso in the morning & desserts.
