Next Tuesday kicks off gravel bar camping along the Wild and Scenic Rogue River at Griffin Park!
Starting Tuesday May 19th at 8:00 AM you can park your RV or pitch your tent along the beautiful Rogue River for Memorial Day Weekend – perfect for watching the boat races! Camping is on a first come first serve basis and campers must check in with a Park Host before setting up camp. $30.00 per night for each tent or RV. $10.00 per night for each extra vehicle. Camping along the river’s edge is available Tuesday, May 19th, until Tuesday, May 26th .

As a reminder for everyone visiting any park located next to the Rogue River from Rural Metro Fire - Josephine County:
“The Rogue River remains very cold and swift, and can catch the most-prepared and savvy person off-guard. Please continue to enjoy our beautiful "wild and scenic" river safely. During this time of year when the weather warms up and people start hanging out near the river, First Responders routinely issue safety reminders...Water levels are very high and move deceptively swift below the surface. Melting snowpack keeps the water colder than expected and will quickly affect muscle function.”
