Today is not just an ordinary day—it's a very special day for fans of The Andy Griffith Show! Today would have marked Andy Griffith's 100th birthday. Andy was born on June 1, 1926, in Mt. Airy, NC.

In Historic Granville, we celebrated this milestone in a big way during our annual Mayberry–I Love Lucy Festival. Guests enjoyed birthday cake, special festivities, and a day filled with laughter, memories, and appreciation for the timeless legacy of Andy Griffith.

We were delighted to have two special guests on our GRAND OPENING WEEKEND. Allan Newsome, aka Floyd the Barber and Keith Thibodeaux who played Johnny Paul Jason on the Andy Griffith Show and Little Ricky on the I Love Lucy Show spent the weekend in our newly decorated Mayberry Hotel.
