Long before we purchased the ranch, lots of other individuals have hunted these lands & have a history of their own.

Such is the story of this family: “An uncle had hunted in this spot.”
“I remember grandpa taking me to hunt along this creek.”

Now, generations later, this great grandson harvested his first native buck in the same place his family used to hunt.

Whew, what a weekend we had!!!! Stephen Trammell booked the hunt of a lifetime for him & his clients. They dealt with crazy bucks who never stopped looking for does, hay blinds, stalking through the woods, rattling antlers, & even making use of the kid’s clubhouse. This was definitely a hunt for the books. A big thank you goes out to our guides & cook: Larry, Nathan, Jacob, & Jesse. Thank you to Stephen for trusting us to provide this opportunity.

Thank you for these amazing photos capturing the hive split!!! Beekeeping is fast becoming a new farming & photography favorite around here. We split a hive and installed a new one today, bringing our hive numbers up to three. Fingers crossed for another great honey harvest. 🍯 🐝
