K9 Officer Spotlight: Meet Dash! 🐾

K9 Dash is a dedicated member of the Grass Valley Police Department’s K9 Unit, serving alongside Officer Colton Duncan to help keep the community safe. 💙

Funded through the generous support of the Rüdiger Foundation, Dash joined GVPD in April 2024. Officer Duncan successfully completed extensive training with Dash, and the team is fully certified as a Police K9 unit.

Dash was introduced to the community during the Grass Valley City Council meeting on July 23, 2024. Now nearly 3 years old, this hardworking Belgian Malinois serves alongside K9 Kano as an active GVPD K9, patrolling the streets of Grass Valley with skill, focus, and dedication.
