Hey there! There's a lot of new people here, so we'd like to reintroduce ourselves.

We’re Blake and Angela Bernard, and we couldn’t be more excited to be the new owners of Brookside Lake Resort!

As kids from small towns in Michigan, we spent our summers making memories at campgrounds, cabins, and cottages across the state. We cherish those days by the lake, sharing meals, and roasting s’mores around the campfire. When we first visited Brookside, we immediately felt that this place was something special—it's a spot where we can truly invest our hearts.

With our experience in hospitality, we’re eager to continue the cherished tradition of summer getaways on Duck Lake. Together with our two children, we look forward to creating wonderful memories with our guests, even if it’s just for a week each summer.

We’re so excited to be part of the history and future of this amazing place!
