Borchers Canoe Livery with Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of Grayling, Michigan on the beautiful AuSable River. We have wide variety of canoe and kayak trips, our riverside Bed & Breakfast, and our "boathouse" shop, featuring AuSable River t-shirts, sweatshirts and other goodies. From our Grayling location, we provide various length trips for all skill levels beginning with a 2 1/2 hour l

eisurely float to Burtons Landing. The river flows at a gentle 3 to 5 miles per hour, and ranges in depth from 18 to 36 inches.

Between slinging canoes and kayaks along with his daily multiple-hour skate-ski training sessions, this guy is destined for greatness on the course and in the classroom!

We will be launching from 9:00-3:30 with 2-kayaks for $44 and 2-canoes for $58 to Burtons Landing with normal Stephan and Wakeley Bridge trip prices applying.

It's 2 for Tuesday at Borchers today! 2- kayaks for $44 and 2-canoes for $58 to Burtons Landing!!! Launch hours for this trip are 9-3 with last pick-up's at 6:00pm.

We are also launching to our downriver Stephan and Wakeley Bridge locations until 12:00 and 1:30 respectively!

Ok, Borchers folks, after 2 weeks of battling with Facebook, we are back up and running!

In the meantime, the 78th Annual Au Sable Canoe Marathon went off without a hitch!
A huge shout out to all the former Borchers employees along with our sponsored canoes that raced the grueling 120 miles from Grayling to Oscoda!

*25th place - Chris Kucharek and Garrett Ziegler
*33rd place - Ethan Kucharek and Flash Marsh
*84th place - Travis S. VandeCasteele and Travis P. VandeCasteele
* Honorary Borchers for Life - Mitch Willis and Steve Servinski

Lastly, a HUGE SHOUT OUT to all our current Borchers staff for knocking it out of the park on what has become one of the busiest weeks of the season!

With an amazing 4th of July holiday in the rearview mirror, Borchers is full steam ahead! We are just 17 days away from the start of the grueling 120-mile race to Oscoda. The Canoe Marathon brings tens of thousands of spectators to Grayling, and we want to look our best. The Borcher staff was hard at work today getting the race flags up for both spectators and paddlers. Come on down to see them in person and cool off with a float down the historic Au Sable River.
