It’s National Dog Day! And after careful consideration, we’ve decided that vacations are simply better when your favorite four-legged travel buddy comes along.

At the Quality Inn & Suites Grayling, dogs are welcome for a small pet fee because honestly, who else is going to:

🐾 Inspect every corner of the hotel room
🐾 Claim one entire bed despite weighing 30 pounds
🐾 Bark at absolutely nothing at 2:00 AM
🐾 Require 47 bathroom stops on the road trip
🐾 And stare at you like you’ve committed a crime when you leave them behind?

So pack the leash, treats, favorite squeaky toy and approximately 600 p**p bags you’ll somehow still manage to lose.

Today, the halls fill back up, backpacks are packed, pencils are sharpened, and another year of learning begins for Grayling!

To all of our students: Be brave. Be curious. Be kind. Try something new, ask questions, make mistakes, help someone who needs it, and remember that you are capable of more than you know.

To the teachers and staff who pour so much into our kids each day THANK YOU for everything you do to help them learn, grow, and succeed.

And to all the parents and families… we hope the first-day pictures were taken, everyone found their shoes, and nobody forgot their lunch on the counter.
