🛶 Race Weekend Has Arrived! 🌲

The AuSable River Canoe Marathon is one of Northern Michigan's most exciting traditions, and we're thrilled to welcome racers, support crews, and fans to the Grayling area!

After a day spent along the river, there's nothing better than coming back to a clean, comfortable room, relaxing around the fire pit, and sharing stories from the day's adventures.

Whether you're here to compete, cheer on your favorite team, or simply experience the excitement, we hope you have an incredible weekend.

🚨 Breaking News: Northern Michigan has officially been returned to us! 😂🌤️

The skies are blue, the sun is shining, and best of all... we can finally step outside without smelling like we spent the last five hours roasting marshmallows at a bonfire. 🔥😅

This morning's deep breath? 10/10. Highly recommend. 💙🌲

We're incredibly thankful the smoke from the Canadian wildfires has cleared and we can once again enjoy the fresh, crisp Northern Michigan air we all know and love.

Now excuse us while we open every window, breathe dramatically for absolutely no reason, and pretend we never complained about allergy season. 😆

As we have fully transitioned into new ownership, we just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all of our amazing guests.

Change always comes with a few new processes and learning experiences, and we truly appreciate the patience, kindness, and encouragement you've shown us along the way. Your warm welcomes, friendly conversations, and understanding have meant more than you know.

We've loved meeting so many new faces while also welcoming back the guests who have made Woodland Motor Lodge a tradition year after year. It has been an honor to become part of this special place and its wonderful community.

Our commitment is simple: to provide clean, comfortable accommodations, friendly local hospitality, and a relaxing Northern Michigan getaway that you'll look forward to returning to.
