Our Story

Hello! I am Claudia Laslie, owner and creator of Berkshire Rental Properties, specializing in both long and short term vacation rentals, throughout the Southern Berkshires, since 2005. My role is to act as liaison between renter and homeowner and to assist the owner in preparing their rental so that renters have a wonderful experience and want to return to the Berkshires again and again. I moved to Great Barrington in 2003 along with my two children who were quite young at the time. Looking to supplement my income, I would clean my house top to bottom, pack my kids into their car seats, and rent out my house for weekends. In talking about it with friends, one thing lead to another and before long I was helping others to do the same! My company has come a long way from those early vacation rental pioneering days... thank goodness. BRP provides seasoned guidance to both homeowners as they prepare their homes as well as to potential renters to help them find the best property that fits their needs. I also assist with long term rentals, both furnished and unfurnished. I am a licensed MA real estate broker represented by Lance Vermeulen Real Estate Inc. If are ready to think about buying your first home, down-sizing your current, looking for an investment property (my specialty!) or finding that second home, I'd be happy to discuss your goals with you and go see some properties!
