Bring the whole family and experience the magic of fall. Our Annual Fall Festival is packed with activities everyone can enjoy together. Spend the day decorating pumpkins, taking a scenic hayride, or working as a team to create a winning scarecrow in our friendly decorating competition - the top entry will win a Virginia State Parks gift certificate. 🛍️

Parking: Standard fees or four non-perishable canned goods

Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and our Friends of Twin Lakes State Park will have pumpkins ready for you to take home and continue the fun. 🎃

Craftily sculpt a towering sandcastle, a mermaid, a turtle, your dog, or any other creature, character, or building you can think of to win this sand sculpture contest in honor of Sandcastle Day! All skill levels are encouraged to participate. Winners will be chosen for the following categories: most impressive, most creative, and most fun.

The Rules: Sculptures can be created by individuals or groups. Simple sand molds and hands are acceptable sculpting tools. This contest is meant to be fun; good sportsmanship is required.
