The Clyde Austin 4-H Center has a number of programs happening all the time. In the summer, the Clyde Austin 4-H Center hosts Junior and Junior High 4-H camps. Junior 4-H camp is for campers who have completed 4th through 6th grade and Junior High 4-H camp is for campers who have completed 6th through 8th grade. Camp begins on Monday and ends on Friday. Campers enjoy a variety of activities. The c

amp features an Olympic-sized pool with a 130 foot long waterslide, a wildlife center, a large recreation hall, ball fields, a basketball court, and shooting and archery ranges. Other facilities include a woodworking shop, an airbrush shop, and a leather craft shop. Campers can also fish, canoe, or enjoy a kayak ride on the lake. Other activities include a low ropes course, a fossil class, and land and water Olympics. Contact your local Extension Office for details. During the school year, the Clyde Austin 4-H Center is home to the Camp Explore program. This exciting program provides schools in the East Tennessee area with day camps or overnight camps to promote student awareness, knowledge, and appreciation of the environment. The Camp Explore program features:
