It's time for , campers!

Combine prehistoric finds with all the benefits of modern camping at this week's KOA. Strategically located near Route 191, this campground is the perfect pit stop for Western road trippers.

The campground's variety of RV sites accommodates everyone, from the van lifers to the motorhome enthusiasts. Choose from pull-thru, back-in, or KOA Patio sites and spend less time setting up and more time relaxing. No RV? No problem. Stay in a ultra-comfy Deluxe Cabin or a classic tent site.

The area is known for its abundance of dino finds. Under 20 miles away is Dinosaur National Monument, where you can see over 1,500 fossils on exposed cliff face. Other state parks in the area provide boating and fishing with views of dinosaur tracks along the way. After you've channeled your inner paleontologist, camp is a welcome respite. Challenge your fellow campers to a game of horseshoes or giant jenga, cool off in the pool, or take in a movie under the stars.

Let the campground's knowledgable staff give you the inside scoop on local delights, from the best farm stands, apple and w**e trails, and fishing spots the area has to offer. Camp is located just a mile from the area's historic lighthouse and beach park. And the local town is a charming waterfront village that's so small, it doesn't even have a traffic light!

Ever wanted to watch a rocket launch while you camp? 🚀

SpaceX launched Starship's 14th test flight and first attempt to go to orbit from Starbase Texas a few weeks ago, and it was a sight to behold from South Padre Island KOA Holiday. SPI offers a unique experience to campers where they can enjoy the coastal breeze, Texas beaches, and the occasional rocket lift off!

What an amazing weekend! 🎉 We had a HUGE turnout for Bingo, crafts, karaoke, and tie-dye, and the campground was packed with fun and happy campers! ❤️

We apologize for any inconvenience. Lightning struck just outside our registration office and affected our Wi-Fi network in parts of the campground. We are actively working to make the necessary repairs, but unfortunately, we do not know exactly when the Wi-Fi will be fully restored.

Tea Talk Community with Jestacia Lanette will host a pop-up tea bar on Saturday 08/15 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the clubhouse. Jestacia will be serving:

- Lavender Lemonade with Sea Moss
- Herbal Coffee with Turmeric and Cinnamon

A small cup will be $5.
