One of my favorite things about staying at the Lakehouse is that no two mornings are ever quite the same.

Some days the lake is perfectly still. Other days, a few unexpected visitors drift by.

These ducks aren’t permanent residents. They simply stop in from time to time, making a surprise appearance for whoever happens to be enjoying their morning coffee on the deck.

It’s one of those little moments you can’t plan, and that’s exactly what makes it special. 🦆
