This Thursday will be my debut at the Blair Hill Inn Greenville, Maine.
I'm excited to play music at this beautiful venue!
Just a little introduction of myself..I am a singer-songwriter originally from Aroostook County and have traveled many miles to do music. I have been performing nearly 20 years at many venues that become like home to me.
When I am asked what my style is ..I say "eclectic" because I love to do many styles and genres. I have many original songs to share that are very eclectic! Greenville is a new area for me to perform and l will be doing my best for you!

Warm sunny days. Long evenings on the porch. And late night sunsets… the solstice is near and we’re going to enjoy every minute of sun.

Just a reminder that we’re serving our lounge menu 7 days a week from 3 pm - close, and our five-course tasting menu Tuesday - Saturday 5 pm to close. All open to the public. Reservations recommended.

Join us tomorrow evening in the Slate Restaurant Lounge for the first show of Chris Ross Music residency! Chris will be performing the first Thursday of each month until October!

Greenville has been a really great town to me over the past few years, excited to be coming up to see everyone on the first Thursday of each month this summer! First night of the residency at Blair Hill Inn is this week - the lounge is a really comfortable and casual place to have a drink and listen to some music, I know from the outside it might feel like it’s too fancy for you, but trust me it’s chill and local friendly, and as long as I’m there you can be certain you aren’t the most broke person in the room 🤘🏼 see ya Thursday!

This season I’m spending more time away from Greenville and right now I’m regretting those life choices… thankfully I have amazing friends who enjoy spending their evenings watching the sunset on the porch as much as I do, so I still get to experience it even when I’m not there.

Mainers have a saying: “If you don’t like the weather, just wait five minutes, it’ll change.” Today was a perfect example. Snowflakes drifted at sunrise, followed by wind, clouds, a little rain, and then, by mid-afternoon, bright sunshine and warmth. Living in Maine teaches you something important: not everything needs to be controlled. Sometimes the best approach is to embrace what comes, trust the process, and appreciate each moment as it unfolds.

That spirit of adaptability is something I see in our team every day. No matter what challenges the day brings, they show up ready to care for our guests, solve problems, and create memorable experiences with grace and positivity. That’s why moments like this feel so meaningful. Watching our team pause to enjoy each other’s company while taking in a spectacular sunset. After a day of constant change, it felt like Mother Nature’s way of saying thank you. A reward for the kindness, dedication, and heart they pour into creating magical moments for others. And if you ask me, there’s no sunset more beautiful than one shared with people who make every day a little brighter.

Yesterday, for the first time since the week I purchased Blair Hill, I checked in as a guest. As I walked through my room last night, I found myself seeing the Inn through a different lens, not as the owner managing the daily details, but as a guest experiencing everything we work so hard to create.

The room was immaculate. Every corner reflected the care, attention, and pride of a team that keeps this property looking beautiful day after day. The grounds were pristine, the atmosphere peaceful, and every detail felt intentional.

Then there was dinner.

I've been fortunate to enjoy some incredible meals over the years, but last night's dinner was, without question, one of the best meals of my life. The talent, creativity, and passion of our culinary team showed up in every course. Beautifully presented, thoughtfully crafted, and absolutely delicious.

Owning a business often means focusing on what still needs improvement, but every once in a while you get a chance to step back and see what has been built. Last night was one of those moments for me. I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude - for our guest services team, our housekeeping team, our maintenance, garden & grounds crew, our restaurant team, and every member of the staff who shows up each day committed to creating an exceptional guest experience.

When I purchased Blair Hill Inn, I had a vision for what I hoped guests would feel when they stayed with us. Last night, I got to experience it myself. And I couldn't be prouder of the team that made it possible.
