Big News from Homestead Inn - Restaurant Thomas Henkelmann
After over two decades of serving our loyal guests at Homestead Inn and Restaurant Thomas Henkelmann, we have decided to sell our cherished property to a partnership between The McDevitt Company, a respected property development and brokerage firm and The Glazer Family office (founders of Graybarns).
We are excited to pass our unique restaurant and inn, which date back to 1799, to the new partnership, and we believe that they will take the properties to even new heights.
The McDevitt/Glazer partnership is excited to have the opportunity to update and further beautify this very special property. The new owner's plans include converting all guest rooms to suites and a significant refresh of the common areas, restaurant and grounds.
Thomas and his team will continue to operate the restaurant and inn through New Year's Day 2022. If you have reservations between now and then, our team will be here to serve you as always before.
The property will be closed for renovations after January 1, 2022, so we will no longer take reservations and deposits after that date. While we will no longer issue new gift certificates, we will honor outstanding gift certificates which are presented through January 1st. Should you have made a deposit for an event that is scheduled after January 1st, we will reach out to you shortly to arrange a refund and assist you in making alternate plans.
On behalf of our entire team, we want to thank all of our guests for your loyal support over the past years and we extend the new owners our best wishes for their successful continuation and enhancement of the special Homestead Inn legacy.
And course if you have any questions or concerns please do reach out to us.
