Renascent Hospitality announces the groundbreaking of its latest development!
Construction begins in San Lorenzo Chico on the Hilton Garden Inn – Salta/San Lorenzo. (Salta, Salta Province, Argentina)
Co- Developed by Proyecto Norte and Renascent Hospitality with local and foreign investors, it will employ more than 500 people during construction, and more than 100 once operational.
In a ceremony with the presence of investors, authorities, and local media, the construction work of the future Hilton Garden Inn Salta began. The project, located in San Lorenzo Chico, the fastest growing commercial, residential, and corporate area of the NOA, will have a total area of 10,500 m², and is projected to be completed by 2026, ushering in a new era in hospitality and world-class service in the region.
The hotel is an initiative of the local developer Proyecto Norte and US based co developer and manager Renascent Hospitality, with funding by local and foreign investors. The first stage of the work will be carried out by the local construction company RAC.
The Hilton Garden Inn Salta will have 109 rooms, following the standards of comfort, quality and safety characteristics of the upscale Hilton chain. It will also offer significant meeting and event space, oversized fitness center and spa, heated outdoor pool, a restaurant, lounge, ample parking, and very good connectivity with the area. "This hotel will provide direct and indirect employment to more than 500 people in its construction and once operational we estimate more than 100 jobs, most of them from Salta," said Jonás Beccar Varela, director of the firm Proyecto Norte. "From a design point of view, the project offers a large covered central atrium, of quadruple height, around which the rooms are organized, which will give visitors a feeling of an open, bright courtyard with first-class interior landscaping," said Martín Gutierrez Montaldi, architect of Proyecto Norte, in charge of the hotel's design. "At the same time, the implementation of numerous environmental management practices is planned, which, according to what has been calculated by specialists, will allow a saving of 43.6 tons of CO2, equivalent to the planting of more than 2,300 trees per year," he added.
The management and administration of the Hilton Garden Inn Salta will be done by co-developer Renascent Hospitality, an international firm specializing in the industry. In this regard, its owner, Scott Somerville, who is also an investor in the project, noted “The Hilton Garden Inn Salta/San Lorenzo will be the new standard of excellence in accommodations, service and amenities in Northern Argentina.”
The Hilton Garden Inn Salta will be the only Hilton Worldwide hotel located in this part of Northern Argentina/Salta Province (MSA of over 800,000 residents) and only the second hotel in the area to be a member of an international chain. Hilton Worldwide has 22 hotel brands globally, distributed in 7,215 hotels in 122 countries, and more than 2900 hotels under development worldwide. In the Argentine market, Hilton Garden Inn Salta joins the 10 hotels that are already operational and the 11 that are in the design or construction phase.
