We are honored to be a part of the Grinnell community and grateful to be featured in a local news story highlighting a difficult situation and the response here at Comfort Inn & Suites Grinnell. A couple traveling through Iowa was involved in a serious accident when their vehicle and trailer were struck, causing a rollover and scattering their belongings, with one of their dogs running off during the incident.

Our team provided immediate accommodations and assisted the couple with transportation to Des Moines so they could continue making arrangements. We are also grateful for the Grinnell community, which came together to help search for their missing dog and support the family during a very stressful time.

We’re proud of our staff and grateful to be part of a community that shows up for others when it matters most.
