Our home is the quaint and peaceful town of Groton, which is only 45 minutes from Boston. Only 55 minutes from Boston, Grotonwood Camp & Retreat Center is located in Groton, Massachusetts (Route 495: old exit 31) on Route 119. Its unique amenities include a full-size gymnasium with a climbing wall with plenty space for physical activities and conferences, a waterfront on Lost Lake for swimming (Ju

ne- August), and a log-cabin chapel that is an ideal setting for weddings and church group retreats. Grotonwood offers miles of wooded trails for hiking and mountain biking, meditation spaces in a natural setting, a low-ropes course, archery range, campfire areas, a sports field equipped with a baseball diamond and soccer goals, a variety of housing options and wireless internet in specified buildings. We have a dining room that serves over 175 for breakfast lunch and dinner. Overall, a great place to choose for your retreat or a traditional christian summer camp experience!

Our summer is winding down, but what we've carried — the contented stillness, the laughter and joy, the moments that caught us delightfully off guard — none of that leaves with the last car on Friday 🌅

Each summer, there's something sacred about letting go. Not because what we built here didn't matter, but because it mattered so much that it’s woven into us now, for good 🤍

To every camper who spent part of their summer with us — thank you for showing up, for being present, and for reminding us that rest and renewal are also holy things 🌲

The last few days are still ours. Let's hold them gently and savor every one 🥹
